HOME GROUPS:
Relationship, worship, &
learning are emphasized in these groups. We currently have three of
these groups as listed below. Anyone is welcomed at any group…Sunday
night, Tuesday night, or Thursday night. We will be adding other groups
next year and hopefully early into the year like January or February.
We’ve had some interest in “old timey” Bible studies, for those wanting
to learn more about the Bible. See Jim or Betty if you are interested.

Home Groups
are back to their normal schedules! If you’ve never attended one of
these groups this is a good place to get to know people better than you
can just on Sunday morning. Relating and loving each other is an
important part of being in the Kingdom of God.
There
was a good turn out for the men’s breakfast. Hope more of you can come
next month. It’s the first Saturday each month. It’s about relating and
learning to be a man unafraid to follow Jesus. Pastor Jim’s the teacher.
We have a Ladies group
that is developing. If you would like to come this will start up on
Friday afternoon, January 18th at 1:00 here at the church. If
anybody would like to meet for lunch (just for fun) next Friday on the
11th, call Lydia (649-3589) . We are again doing Beth Moore’s
Breaking Free plus some added information about being and living
free in a culture like ours. We hope to have some gatherings that those
of you with jobs in the daytime could also attend.
We are considering doing an Alpha Course from March thru
May. This will depend on exactly how many of you can and will
participate. This course has benefited so many of us who have done it
together before, we just need more of you to take leading roles. So talk
to Betty if you want to help. More info later.
Thanks to the Guenard’s for their New Year’s Bash. It’s a fun tradition
around here. Thanks to all of you for your expressions of love to us (
the Long’s ) . We dearly love all of you and hope we can serve Christ
together for many years unless He returns really SOON and that surely
could be so!
Love to all you Vineyardites,
Betty & Jim
